Wondering how often should you exfoliate your face? Over-exfoliation is one skin-care mistake almost all of us make. We incessantly scrub off dry, flaky patches of skin in an effort to take care of it — and when we accidentally exfoliate too often or with a scrub that’s too harsh, it backfires big time.

What happens if you exfoliate too much? Your skin gets irritated, then your dry, flaky patches return and often get worse. But gentle scrubs can remove flakes and make full, thirsty skin glow again. Overexfoliating is probably the single more significant cause of breakouts.

Here are five tips on how to keep your skin flake-free — without harming it.

1. More than Three Times a Week is Too Much Exfoliation

How often should you exfoliate your face? Well, the absolute maximum you should be exfoliating is three times a week. Overexfoliate and you’re likely to create tiny cracks in the skin barrier that lead to more loss of hydration and inflammation. By over exfoliating you’re not fixing the problem, you’re actually make it worse.

2. Be Gentle with Your Skin

Exfoliating does not mean torture your skin. Make sure you know what you’re putting on your face because a lot of face products are good on their own, but when you add them together it could lead to damage and injury.

3. Listen to Your Skin

Skin knows how to exfoliate itself and using just one exfoliater should be enough. Instead of having a set routine for how often you use a product, leave it up to your face. In other words, don’t exfoliate simply because it’s 7 a.m. — exfoliate because you feel like you need to.

4. Moisturize

Make sure you are keeping your skin moisturized along with exfoliating. You can't expect your skin not to be dry if you’re exfoliating but not moisturizing. It’s important to find a moisturizer that will keep your skin healthy and hydrated. You will find yourself having to exfoliate way less because your skin won’t be as dry. The Doux Moisturizer by Sainte Muse is a lightweight, oil free moisturizer. It will leave your face feeling hydrated and looking radiant without any added oil.

5. Exfoliating Masks

One thing that I find helpful is exfoliating masks rather than face cleansers. Just like exfoliating you should only be doing face masks a couple times a week, so something I like to do is find a face mask that doubles as an exfoliater, and I kill to birds with one stone. It helps me limit the amount of times a week I exfoliate and apply a face mask that way I’m being gentle on my skin and not overwhelming it with so many different products. The Active Noir Masque by Sainte Muse doubles as a exfoliating and cleansing mask. It is formulated for all skin types. It will leave your skin feeling refreshed and smooth without damaging or irritating your skin.

I hope this was helpful, make sure you’re being kind to your beautiful skin. Thank you babes for reading. * I have decided that next week I am going to be doing a skin care/ beauty Q&A. I will be posting on my social media so if you follow me there you can DM me but if you don’t you can email any questions you might have and I will be answering them in a blog post so be on the lookout for that!

10 Homemade Toners

10 Homemade Toners

What is a toner: toner is a liquid that has to be used after cleansing.

Reasons why you should use toner in your daily routine:

  1. It shrinks your pores and tightens the skin.
  2. It helps in reducing the oiliness of the skin.
  3. It improves the overall skin texture.
  4. Removes the dead cells that stick to skin ever after cleansing.
  5. It restores the pH balance of your skin.
  6. It is an instant refresher for your skin.
  7. It can prevent ingrown hairs.

Different types of toners:

1. Fresheners-

These are the mildest form that have almost no alcohol.

They have a bit of humectant that keeps the moisture, best for dry and sensitive skin.

Eg: Rose Water.

2. Tonics-

These have slightly higher content of alcohol up to 20%.

They are still suitable for all skin types.

Eg: Orange Flower Water.

3. Astringent-

This has a high proportion of alcohol from 20-60%.

It is generally advised only for oily skin as it dries out excess oils.

Eg: Witch Hazel.

Homemade Toners

1. White Vinegar

Mix water with white vinegar in equal proportions. Now take a cotton pad, dip in the solution and wipe the face.

2. Mint Leaves

Mix mint leaves with hot water. Allow the solution to cool down and then wipe your face using cotton dipped in the solution.

3. Aloe Vera

Squeeze out pure aloe vera juice and apply on the face. This works as a great toner for the skin and cures sunburns and rashes too.

4. Cucumber + Curd

Grate a fresh cucumber and mix with curd. Apply this mixture on the face and leave it on for 5-10 minutes. Wash with cold water.

5. Camphor + Rose Water

Mix a pinch of camphor with rose water and apply this solution on the face 3-4 times a day. This toner is excellent for acne-prone and oily skin.

6. Ice Cold Water

One of the simplest toners to use is ice cold water or ice cubes. You can wipe the ice cubes or ice-cold water on the face after cleansing.

7. Rose Water

Apply rose water on your face daily. Pure rose water does wonders to the skin, making it oil-free, soft, and radiant.

8. Lemon Juice

Apply pure lemon juice or rube lemon peels on the face. This helps in lightening the skin complexion and also makes it oil-free.

9. Egg White

Extract egg white from an egg and apply it on the face for a few minutes every day.

10. Tomato Juice + Honey

Extract tomato juice and mix with organic honey in equal proportions. Make a thick paste and apply on your face for 15 minutes.

I hope this guide was helpful and that you get a chance to try out some of these recipes. Don’t forget to moisturize after you tone. Check out the Doux Moisturizer by Sainte Muse if you’re looking for an oil free moisturizer that will leave your face feeling hydrated and looking radiant. I hope everybody has a safe Memorial Day Weekend.

3 Early Summer Skincare Essentials

3 Early Summer Skincare Essentials

Having clear, healthy looking skin is important in the summer. I don’t know about you ladies but I find myself wearing makeup way less in the summer, so a good face wash is a must. My favorite cleanser is the Créme Cleanser by Sainte Muse. It always leaves my face feeling clean, smooth, and refreshed. The powerful blend of vitamins and antioxidants work fast giving your skin a fresh and healthy look.

When thinking of the heat and humidity that comes with summer days and nights you might think I’ve gone crazy suggesting a facial oil is your skin care routine. Why would you load your skin with oil when you’re already trying to combat sweat and shine on a daily basis? BUT as it turns out, your skin can really benefit from using a facial oil. Facial oils are awesome all year round. Regardless of the season, the nourishment, hydration, and protection oils offer are beneficial. The Gloss Face Oil by Sainte Muse will leave your skin feeling hydrated like never before. It absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy feeling on your face. It will leave your skin clear and glowing.

There is nothing better than late summer nights, but the dark circles under your eyes the next morning are not so great. The 24K Gold Under Eye Mask by Sainte Muse will totally take care of that. In under 20 minutes the mask will rid your eyes of dark circles and smooth fine lines. The gold hydrates and expels toxins while 100% collagen and a host of skin-tightening minerals reduce wrinkles and soften the areas around your eyes for tighter, more youthful looking skin.

These are the three things I can’t survive summer without. I definitely recommend investing if you want to maintain beautiful, healthy skin through out the summer months. I hope you babes enjoyed, sending all my good vibes and positivity.

The Coffee Scrub

The Coffee Scrub

Today we’re going to take a look at the OG of this company, you guessed it, the coffee scrub. Sainte Muse has three different coffee scrubs which all benefit your skin in different ways. We have the Original Coffee Scrub, the Coconut Coffee Scrub, and the Cacao Coffee Scrub. Although they all benefit your skin in different ways and do different things to leave you with beautiful skin, we’re not going to be talking about any one of these individual scrubs at the moment, instead I’m going to tell you the benefits of Coffee Scrub for your skin.

One of my favorite things about these coffee scrubs is that the results are immediately noticeable It might take a few times to get your skin exactly where you want it, but each time it immediately looks better and better. The benefits of these scrubs include but are not limited to:

Exfoliation: because coffee scrubs are made with coarse grounds, they act as exfoliates for the skin. Regular exfoliation of the skin removes dirt and dead skin to give you younger looking skin. After the skin is exfoliated, it is able to absorb moisture more effectively as well.

Skin Texture: Caffeine is a vasodilator, which means it constrict blood vessels in the skin. This action works to make blood vessels tighter and firmer very quickly, which is reflected in your skin texture.

Antioxidants: The main chemical in coffee is caffeine, a natural antioxidant. Antioxidants neutralize the effects of free radicals, which can damage the inner layer of skin. This damage is often reflected in age spots and wrinkles. When a coffee scrub is applied, the skin absorbs this antioxidant and can help prevent premature aging.

Blood flow: Some people use coffee scrubs to combat the occurrence of varicose veins. The caffeine found in coffee scrubs typically increases blood flow and may reduces appearance of cellulite. Even the action of applying the coffee scrub can help with these types of skin issues because squeezing and massaging the body helps to release toxins and fats held in the skin.

Instead of using a body scrub with harsh chemicals and who knows what else, all Sainte Muse products are made with only the most high-end, natural, and ethical ingredients. Our coffee scrubs will leave your skin moisturized and nourished.

We have three amazing different coffee scrubs to choose from, they all work like magic. Below I am going to leave the description for each one and a link so you can decide which one is your absolute favorite and try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.

“You don’t have to crack open a coconut to enjoy nature’s best moisturizer. Our Coconut Coffee Scrub contains all-natural coconut oil, which is bursting with anti-inflammatory properties. Open the bag, take out a scoop and start rubbing it all over your problem areas to target dry skin, breakouts, and other skin imperfections. Feel the grit as coffee granules stimulate blood flow and exfoliate, sloughing away dry skin while reducing the appearance of cellulite and scars. But this scrub doesn’t stop there. The all-natural coconut oil combined with a bit of sea salt provides an extra exfoliating kick, infusing your skin with moisture without blocking pores to unleash your inner beauty. Splurge on a tropical spa treatment, no travel required, and give your skin a nourishing boost”
“Wake up and smell the java every time you shower. Our Original Coffee Scrub 100% Arabica Coffee Beans. Open the bag, scoop out a handful and prepare to infuse your skin with a mega-dose of antioxidants and beauty-enhancing minerals. Rub vigorously in a circular motion and feel the high caffeine content stimulating blood flow while a healthy mix of rare sea salts eliminates stretch marks, cellulite and other unsightly skin conditions. Get ready for a healthy glow and problem-free skin that turns heads with just a few applications.”
“Wake up your skin with nature’s superfood, without any guilt. Our Cacao Coffee Scrub is made from earth-grown Arabica Coffee Beans and crumbled Cacao nibs, which the Mesoamericans called the “Food of the Gods” for its healing properties. Open the bag and inhale the chocolatey richness. Then scoop out a handful and rub it in a circular motion all over your problem areas. The gritty texture will slough away dead skin and minimize scars. The high levels of caffeine will stimulate blood flow. And since caffeine is cellulite’s natural enemy, your skin will start to look smoother and firmer with just a few applications. Smells like a Chocolate Mocha and helps you look your best. What’s not to love?"

I’ve tried them all, and trust hunny, this was a hard decision but the Coconut Scrub is my all time favorite. Coconut Oil and Coffee-- those are my two favorite things and now we’re mixing them? Mhm, count me in. In all seriousness, this scrub is amazing. I suffered from some acne scarring on my skin, I’ve tried a million different things to get the scarring to go away or at least slightly fade but nothing was helping. I read that this scrub was supposed to eliminate scarring, I was kinda like “ya, alright. We’ll see.” This scrub has eliminated all the scarring on my face completely. I saw a difference after the first use. I will forever love this scrub!

I hope this post has convinced you all to buy a coffee scrub, if not, you are genuinely missing out. You’re skin will thank you! Always Love yourself & Treat yourself ladies.

XOXO, Taylor

How to Style Pins

How to Style Pins

Hi, you have just tuned into Sainte Muse’s first fashion related post. This might seem totally strange considering this is a skin care company so fashion isn’t exactly what you expected to find on this blog, but Sainte Muse is pretty damn fashionable and trendy. We want you guys to be fashionable and trendy also, so we started sending out a pin with every order just as a thank you, for joining our girl gang. In this post, I’m going to show you babes some of the pins and how to style and wear them.

Stay tuned...

If you totally weren’t aware pins are becoming a huge trend. I live for this trend, I think what I like the most about it is the fact that you can put your own kinda twist on any piece of clothing. For example, I have an all black backpack, it’s super plain and boring but I decked it out in pins that express my personality and I get so many compliments on it. Another thing I love doing, is decorating my jean jackets in pins to spruce up my outfits. Pins can be put on nearly any piece of clothing or fabric accessory. You really can't go wrong. It's all about you and expressing yourself.

Here are a couple picture examples of my jean jacket and how I style it with pins.

Every time you order from Sainte Muse you will receive one of these super cute pins.

Collect them all to get my look (;

What's in my Gym Bag?

What's in my Gym Bag?

I just joined a new gym pretty recently so in honor of that, I thought I'd share with you babes what I keep in my gym bag!

1.) Water Bottle

This is the most important thing in my gym bag. As you lose water from your body via sweat, you’ll need to replace that fluid with new water to stay healthy and stave off the dangerous effects of dehydration. The American College of Sports Medicine points out that you need to drink water before, during, and after exercise to maintain a level of healthy hydration.

2.) Headphones

My gym plays the worst music ever, and I have a totally lit workout playlist. My headphones aren't quite as important as my water bottle but they are pretty damn close. Studies have actually shown that music ups your effort. It’s a good distraction, and it can elevate your mood.

3.) Deodorant

I usually keep deodorant in my everyday bag so I think it’s only right that I throw it in my gym bag. I tend to sweat my ass off at the gym, so deodorant is a must before and after I get done working out for the sake of my nose and those around me.

4.) Body Wash

I don’t always shower after I get done working out at the gym, sometimes I wait until I get home. On occasion I don’t always go straight home after the gym and on those occasions I will go ahead and take a quick shower at the gym. For those days I keep a travel size body wash in my bag.

5.) Face Wash
Although, I don’t always shower right after the gym, I do always wash my face. Sweat can cause irritation, redness, acne flare-ups, and clogged pores when you let it dry on your face. I already suffer from acne prone skin so this is an absolute must for me. If you’re wondering what face wash I use, it’s the Créme Cleanser by Sainte Muse. It leaves my skin feeling really refreshed and healthy.
 6.) Facial Mist
The next one kinda goes with the Cleanser. I like to bring my Luxe Rosé Facial Mist, and spray it on after I wash my face. It helps control excess oil and leaves my skin feeling incredibly refreshed. It also makes my face look super healthy and glowy which is important, especially if I’m not going straight home.

Those are the six things that I always keep in my gym bag. Do not forget to always stay hydrated. Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water and always bring your Créme Cleanser by Sainte Muse so your skin stays healthy and beautiful. I hope you girls enjoyed.

See ya,

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother’s Day is quickly approaching, it’s time to start brainstorming perfect gifts for mom. I totally know how hard it can be trying to find gifts to show your mom how much she really means to you. Have no fear, you are in the right place. I have put together a gift guide for all different types of moms, so you can find the perfect gift for your momma that she’ll use and love.

First things first, these look so bougie, I’m obsessed. That’s not even the best part, these babies work absolute magic. You just pop them under your eyes and they will rid your eyes of dark circles and fine lines in under 20 minutes. The gold hydrates the skin and expels toxins and the collagen and other skin tightening minerals reduce wrinkles and softens the areas around the eye for a more youthful looking skin. I was struggling to find a product that would get rid of my horrible dark circles, but these brightened my under eye skin right away. I was shocked, but I am so glad. These would be perfect for a mom who might not get enough sleep at night or just simply struggles with dark circles or wrinkles around the eye area. This is a gift that she would totally appreciate.
This is a go to gift for my mom. I mean you really can’t go wrong, who doesn’t love a nice relaxing face mask!? The Active Noir Masque is formulated for all different types of skin. It’s an exfoliater and a face mask all in one, so it’ll leave your skin feeling refreshed and incredibly smooth. This face mask could be a perfect gift for moms who like skin care products, or could just use a nice relaxing face mask.
Sainte Muse offers three different coffee scrubs. The first one we are going to talk about is the Cacao Coffee Scrub. This scrub is made from earth-grown Arabica Coffee Beans and crumbled Cacao nibs. The scrub will exfoliate your body and get rid of all dead skin cells, it also minimizes scarring. The high levels of caffeine will stimulate blood flow, the caffeine will help eliminate cellulite. Your skin will start to look smoother and firmer in a few applications. The second scrub we have is the Original Coffee Scrub. The Original Coffee Scrub is 100% Arabica Coffee Beans. The caffeine will stimulate blood flow while a healthy mix of rare sea salts eliminates stretch marks, cellulite and other imperfections of the skin. Last but certainly not least, we have my all time favorite, the Coconut Coffee Scrub. I swear by this coffee scrub! It’s a life changing product to say the least. You guessed it, this not only has coffee beans but also coconut oil, my two favorite things all in one. The coffee stimulates blood flow and exfoliates getting rid of dead skin and reducing the appearance of cellulite and scaring, while the coconut oil with a bit of sea salt gives you a little extra exfoliate kick, leaving your skin refreshed and moisturized. This would be an excellent gift for any type of mom.

With a powerful blend of vitamins and antioxidants, this formula provides a unique cooling sensation. Apply the protective shield on your cuticles, elbows, cheekbones, and lips or wherever your skin gets dry, to eliminate the dryness and leave your skin feeling moisturized all day long. This is a product I always keep in my purse, I can’t stand my hands being dry. Whenever, my hands might feel a little dry I put a little bit of this on and it keeps my hands incredibly moisturized all day long. I think this would also be a great gift for any type of mom, anybody can appreciate a great balm.
If your mom is anything like my mom, she loves laying out in the sun. If that’s the case you may have just found the best gift you could have possibly found. Sainte Muse offers three different types of tanning oil, the Golden Tanning Oil, the Bronze Tanning Oil, and the Dark Tanning Oil.  Each one is made up of organic, vegan - friendly ingredients like moisturizing coconut oil, bacteria - killing jojoba oil, and walnut oil to give you a golden glow. It has SPF 4 protection which keeps you safe from 75% of the sun’s harmful rays. My favorite is the Dark Tanning Oil, I do not go in the sun without it. It always leaves my skin beautifully bronzed and it smells like chocolate which I live for.

I hope this gift guide was helpful. Sainte Muse offers many different natural products, these are just the top five I decided to include in the gift guide. If you’re interested in seeing what other wonderful products they have to offer, check out Sainte Muse

Beach waves are a summer essential. They look incredible on short hair or long, thin or thick, straight or curly. Also, it really doesn't take much effort and there’s so many ways to achieve beach waves. Count me in.

Below are 5 different ways to get the best looking beach waves!

1.) Braid before you sleep: This is the lazy girl’s ways to get beach waves, so me. After you shower, towel dry your hair. Separate your hair into 2-6 sections, so that you end up with 2-6 braids depending on how big you want your waves to be. Braid the sections. Go to sleep looking like some kind of alien and wake up with beautiful beach waves. Run your fingers through it and spritz with a sea salt spray for some more texture.

2.) Wand it: Another way I curl my hair is with a curling wand. It gives you that beach wave look without too much time or effort. The size of barrel just depends on how big you want
your waves to be. Before you begin curling, spritz your hair with a heat protector, your hair will thank you. Then take one
inch pieces of hair. wrap around barrel (leave the bottom 2 inches out) and keep it there until your hair is warm to touch. Reminder, be incredibly careful not to burn yourself. Once you’re done curling, let your hair cool, then run your fingers through your waves for a more natural look, then spritz with hairspray.

3.) Scrunch it: If your hair is naturally wavy, you can get beach waves in like 2 minutes. Literally just spritz some sea
salt spray, to towel-dried hair and scrunch it. Let it air dry and you’ll have that perfect beach wave look.

4.) Straightener: A flat iron, can have many uses. You can not only use it to obviously straighten your hair, but also curl it! Take one inch sections of straight hair, clamp a few inches

below the root, slowly move the iron down and rotate in a halfway turn. While rotating seamlessly move the iron down your hair.

5.) Curling Iron: Before doing anything involving a hot tool, make sure to spray hair with hair protectant. Follow that up by brushing through to get rid of any tangles. Using a wide-barrel iron, take on inch sections of your hair, open the clamp, twist & curl, and move it down your hair, leaving out the bottom two inches. For beachy, messier waves, you should alternate between curling your hair towards and away from your face.

With five different waves to get that perfect beach wave look, I’d say you’re just about ready to hit the beach. Just don’t forget your Dark Tanning Oil by Sainte Muse so you can get a perfect tan to match your perfect hair. (;

7 Things you Should be Doing to Take Care of your Face!

7 Things you Should be Doing to Take Care of your Face!

If you’re looking for tips and tricks to make your skin healthier and appear better you are in the right spot. These are 7 things you should be doing to take care of your lovely skin.

1. Wash off your makeup.
Believe me when I say, I know how hard it can be to wash off your makeup at night. When you’re watching Netflix and you’re suddenly so tired you can hardly keep your eyes open but you still have your makeup on. You’re thinking to yourself, “what’s one night” GIRL, go wash that makeup off. I promise if you don’t, you’ll totally regret it. Makeup left on the skin overnight can clog pores, breed bacteria, and cause breakouts. Please, ladies, wash your makeup off your face at night!

2. Consider your diet.

I’m sure you’ve already heard about dairy causing acne, but that’s not the only food that can cause you to break out. Try your best to focus on nutritional meals. Your body will thank you and so will your skin. Stay away from processed carbs. Fruits and vegetables are the way to go!

3. Wear Sunscreen daily.
No matter the time of year, sunscreen protects against harmful rays that are always present no matter the season. UV rays are very harmful to the skin, they cause premature aging of the skin and can also cause skin cancer. Sunscreen is necessary for healthy skin.
4. Wash your makeup brushes.
Think about it, how often do you use your makeup brushes? Okay, now when was the last time you cleaned them? Makeup brushes collect, makeup, oil, dust, dead skin cells, and other debris. Every time you use them you are putting that on your face! Your dirty brushes can cause acne, skin irritation and infections.

5. Incorporate a vitamin C antioxidant serum into your skincare routine.
As a proactive measure to keep your skin’s elasticity and health, make sure you’re looking at the ingredients in your products. A vitamin C antioxidant serum is one of the most important anti-aging products available. Unlike some harsher anti-aging ingredients, antioxidant serums are generally tolerated by all skin types.

6. Face masks.
Face masks are incredibly important. With that being said, certain face masks work for certain skin types and don’t work at all for others. I like to use a face mask once a week, it not only leaves my skin feeling so refreshed but it is also super relaxing for me as well. The mask I have been loving lately, and totally recommend if you have combination skin like me, is the Active Noir Masque by Sainte Muse. I have found myself reaching for this mask each week when I decide it’s face mask time. It exfoliates and refreshes my skin, leaving it smooth and glowing.

 7. Getting enough sleep.
Make sure you are getting enough sleep. It’s called beauty sleep for a reason!!!! When you’re asleep your body has time to repair and regenerate. Not getting proper or enough sleep can contribute to inflammation which impacts the immediate and long-term appearance of the skin.

Cheers to healthy skin!!!

Top 10 Beauty Must-Haves for your Bag this Festival Season!

Top 10 Beauty Must-Haves for your Bag this Festival Season!

It’s that time of year again. Festival season is right around the corner. Whether it means massive events like Coachella, Sasquatch!, Bonnaroo, or something a little more low-key like the Telluride, Bluegrass festival, or even the Phish tour. As fun as festivals are, there are some things you definitely don’t want to forget to pack. Water, your ticket, cameras, and phones are essentials, but today we are going to talk about the beauty essentials you definitely don’t want to forget to throw in your bag.

1.) First things, first you always want to stay hydrated at festivals, not just you literally, but your face too. The moisturizer I’m always reaching for and can’t travel anywhere without is the Doux Moisturizer by Sainte Muse. It’s super light weight which is important to me on days where I’m going to be spending a lot of time outside in the hot sun. It is also keeps my face moisturized all day long, without adding any extra oil to my face.
2.) A tinted moisturizer will do you good at festivals, it’ll give your face a little coverage but it’s super light weight, because who wants a heavy face of makeup when you’re gonna be spending the day sweating your ass of at a music festival, ya idk. My favorite tinted moisturizer is the Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer by NARS, but really any tinted moisturizer will do the trick.
3.) I don’t know about you guys, but I think this is a festival essential for sure, whatever you do, DO NOT FORGET A HIGHLIGHTER!!!! I know I love to be glowing and shining and I’m pretty sure you agree, so grab your favorite highlighter and toss it in your bag, (gently of course, you really don’t want to break it, that could end up messy..). If you don’t have a favorite highlighter I recommend going to your nearest makeup store and testing some out.
4.) You’ll want to bring a facial mist with you as well, a mist is nice to have because it’s not only refreshing but if you’re makeup starts to look dull it can pretty much bring it back to life. My favorite facial mist is the Luxe Rosé Facial Mist by Sainte Muse literally one of the best things that has ever entered my life. I love face mists, they are so refreshing but this one is a notch above the rest. It gives my face such a refreshed and clean feeling, but it never makes my skin oily and that’s so important.
This is another super important one, do not forget makeup wipes, I promise you will regret it. I get it, you’re at a music festival, you’re going to be exhausted, BUT It is not okay to sleep with your makeup on. Just grab a makeup wipe and get that makeup off your face. You will feel so much better in the morning and your skin will thank you. Even if it’s the middle of the day and your face just feels gross, grab a makeup wipe and wipe that shit off, you’ll feel better!
6.) Let’s be real, keeping your hair fleeky all damn day at a music festival isn’t an easy task. Always bring Sea Salt Spray. If your hair just isn’t cooperating or you just want some hot beach waves, spray a little sea salt in your hair and you’ll be looking like a million bucks.
7.) Dry Shampoo and music festivals really go hand in hand, showers are usually rare at music festivals so dry shampoo will be a life saver. If you’re hair is looking a little greasy or it just feels gross to you, spray some of that shit in there and you’re hair will look clean and smell clean and it’ll add a little volume to your hair.
8.) Nobody want’s to catch a wild sunburn at a music festival (talk about uncomfortable). Pack sunscreen. It doesn’t matter what kind or what SPF (although I recommend something with SPF 50 or more, to be extra cautious), just make sure you have some sort of sunscreen on at all times.
9.) Going right along with the highlighter, do not forget you body shimmer. Nothing looks better than gorgeous glowing skin. It’ll also totally match the aesthetic… Music Festival… Body Shimmer, they belong together.
10.) Last but not least, don’t forget your tanning oil. Although you don’t want to get sunburnt, getting a little tan wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. I like to apply my Dark Tanning Oil by Sainte Muse anytime I know I’m going to be in the sun for a long period of time. It helps me catch some rays and also keeps my skin looking shiny and smooth.

After you pack those 10 things you’ll be all set on the beauty essentials for your festival season. Have fun and always be safe. I hope your festival season is everything you hoped for and more!

See ya, Taylor.
