I just joined a new gym pretty recently so in honor of that, I thought I'd share with you babes what I keep in my gym bag!
1.) Water Bottle
This is the most important thing in my gym bag. As you lose water from your body via sweat, you’ll need to replace that fluid with new water to stay healthy and stave off the dangerous effects of dehydration. The American College of Sports Medicine points out that you need to drink water before, during, and after exercise to maintain a level of healthy hydration.
My gym plays the worst music ever, and I have a totally lit workout playlist. My headphones aren't quite as important as my water bottle but they are pretty damn close. Studies have actually shown that music ups your effort. It’s a good distraction, and it can elevate your mood.
I usually keep deodorant in my everyday bag so I think it’s only right that I throw it in my gym bag. I tend to sweat my ass off at the gym, so deodorant is a must before and after I get done working out for the sake of my nose and those around me.
4.) Body Wash
I don’t always shower after I get done working out at the gym, sometimes I wait until I get home. On occasion I don’t always go straight home after the gym and on those occasions I will go ahead and take a quick shower at the gym. For those days I keep a travel size body wash in my bag.
