9 DIY Hair Masks For All Hair Types!

I love DIY all natural masks. There is something comforting about knowing exactly what you’re putting into your hair. If you’re anything like I am, your hair is incredibly important. I went through and picked out my favorite masks for all hair types. I hope everybody enjoys these masks and they make your hair healthy and beautiful. 

     All masks should be used once a week for best results.


   All masks should be left on from 15-30 minutes for best results.



Avocado, Honey, Coconut Oil and Mayo

(I know Mayo in your hair, sounds disgusting but trust me, it’s so worth the nastiness.)  

For Natural Hair

1/2 sliced and skinned avocado 

2 tbsp coconut oil 

1 tbsp honey

1/4 cup mayonnaise


Honey and Banana 

For Dry Hair

1 banana

2 tbsp olive oil or almond oil

3 drops lavender oil

1 tbsp honey


Honey, Egg, Mayo and Olive Oil

 For Curly Hair  

1 egg

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp mayonnaise (remember, it’s worth it!)


Egg Yolk, Honey and Coconut Oil

For Damaged Hair

1 egg yolk

2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp honey


Baking Soda

For Excessive Build Up   

Little bit of water

2 tbsp baking soda


Apple Cider Vinegar, Honey and Lemon  

 For Oily Hair

1 juiced lemon

1 tbsp honey

1/4 cup apple cider vinegar





Almond oil

Fresh full fat milk


Banana, Yogurt and Honey  

 For Frizzy Hair 

Ripe Banana

1 tbsp honey

2 tbsp plain yogurt


Almond Oil, Honey and Apple Cider Vinegar  

 For Split Ends

1 tbsp almond oil 

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
